A. Jivanjee Architects is the architectural firm that was chosen to design the Houston Masjid Complex Project. Established in 1984, its work encompasses restoration projects, educational buildings, residential projects and several masjids across the world including the restoration of Jame Anwar, Cairo, the roza of Syedna Hatim (ra), Hutaib, Mohammedi Park Complex, London, Jamea-tus-Saifiyah, Surat and Karachi, Mahad-al-Zahra, Surat and Karachi and other masjids in Yemen, Colombo and Kuala Lumpur.

Aliasger Jivanjee completed his architectural education in England. He began his professional assignment in 1977 with Hassan Fathy, on the restoration of Jame Anwar. This experience in Cairo formed the basis of his design philosophy and is reflected in his masjid design.
